CIMM Speaker Series presents Charles Vinick, Executive Director of The Whale Sanctuary Project

CIMM's Speaker Series is honored to present Charles Vinick, Executive Director of The Whale Sanctuary Project, on Wednesday, August 17th at 7 pm.

The mission of The Whale Sanctuary Project is to establish a model seaside sanctuary where cetaceans (whales and dolphins) can live in an environment that maximizes well-being and autonomy and is as close as possible to their natural habitat.

A member of the Whale Sanctuary Project Board of Directors since mid-2016, Charles brings a unique blend of leadership and experience to his role as Executive Director. With a solid background in business that includes extensive experience in ocean policy, environmental policy, project management, and government relations, Charles is no stranger to ambitious, visionary, ocean-related projects.

The award-winning short film "Whales Without Walls" which was co-directed by Charles will also be shown.

Admission for the Speaker Series is free for CIMM Members, $7 for adults, $5 for seniors, free for active military, and $3 for children 6-17 years of age. 

Doors open at 6:30 pm with the presentation beginning at 7:00 pm.
