CIMM Speaker Series presents Captain Christine Healy

On May 18th, Captain Tom Petersen will be sharing stories and photos of his experiences with the International Seakeeper’s Society and the work it does in support of marine science.

Tom and Anita Petersen (and their yacht Valkyrie) have supported a variety of activities including whale tagging in Monterey, eDNA research with UCLA and Nat Geo, and most recently with the SharkLab at CSU Long Beach where they helped to support the tagging of great white sharks off of the central coast. We hope you will join us for what is sure to be a fascinating evening at the CIMM Speaker Series.

Admission is free for CIMM members, $7 for adults, and $5 for seniors (62+) and active military members. Doors open at 6:30 pm with the presentation beginning at 7:00 pm. Tickets available at the door.
