CIMM Speaker Series: Geocaching and Adventure Labs on the Gold Coast

Scott Miller will be introducing CIMM Speaker Series attendees to geocaching and, more extensively, to a subset of geocaching, Adventure Labs. Although both of them are location-based, they are very different. 

When geocaching, one is going to a specific location looking for a physical container that contains a log to sign. Once the person has signed the log, they put the container back where they found it and move to the next geocache. 

Adventure Labs use an app. They are generally designed to introduce a person to a topic or an area. They lead the person to a related location, and once they are within a certain distance, within the geofence, they must locate information that enables them to answer a question. They then move on to the next location. Generally, there are five locations in an Adventure Lab.
