Charles Vinick is the Executive Director of The Whale Sanctuary Project. The Project is working to establish a gold-standard coastal sanctuary where cetaceans (whales & dolphins) can live in an environment that maximizes well-being and autonomy and is as close as possible to their natural habitat.

What We’re All About

Our goal at the Channel Islands Maritime Museum, is to preserve and share the wonders of our maritime heritage, highlight our complex interrelationships with the ecology of The Ocean, and showcase people’s creative expressions of everything related to the sea.
