The Channel Islands Maritime Museum has been a treasured cultural resource serving all of Ventura County, Southern California, and the world since 1991.
The Museum needs long term financial support from everyone in our community so that its doors will always be open and its wonderful exhibits and educational programs will continue.
The Museum welcomes support from individuals, groups, corporations and foundations. It is your support that allows the Museum to welcome visitors seven days a week, expand our education programs and exhibits, and enables the Museum to serve as a thriving cultural hub celebrating everything that is maritime.

Where can you experience 500 years of maritime history and meet people from all over the world? Right here at the Channel Islands Maritime Museum in Oxnard. Enliven maritime history for visitors as a volunteer docent: bring to life famous ships and sea battles; speak of whalers and whaling ships, Chinese junks, and English privateers. By joining the CIMM community of volunteers, you may also participate in special events, school education programs, and other opportunities to utilize your talents!
Annual Fund gifts provide the support that helps sustain the Museum’s day-to-day operations, the facilitation of new exhibits, and fund our greatest needs. Donations are accepted at any dollar level and every contribution is deeply appreciated. You can also give on behalf of friends and family.
